Murmur ( also known as Murmus and Murmux) is the Great Duke and Earl of Hell in the Ars Goetia of the Lesser Key of Solomon. He rules 30 legions of spirits.

Murmur is depicted as a warrior with the Ducal crown and he is riding the huge creepy Griffon. Four ministers of his majesty are walking before him and blaring the trumpets. His duty is to become the best Teacher of Philosophy for you. He obliges the souls of the dead people to appear before the conjurer and to answer all his questions about anything. In Latin his name means « whisper, noise, sound of the Tube». Some resources by mistake declare Murmur as the «demon of Music» , that information is not the truth . Yes , he is fond of the classical music, but the screams of suffering souls he likes more. Murmur is the only demon , who is flying without using his own wings, but with the wings of Griffon, which he is riding . There is not much information about Murmur, but we know for sure that he is using Necromagic . You should be very careful while summoning him. Because Murmur can not just ignore you, but also make something bad to you without good reason.
