This creepy old man is riding the ugly old crocodile and carrying on his hand the Hawke .  He looks scary but after appearance he seems to be very shy and does not like too much attention and always ready to serve you.  Crocodile is the symbol of Power, symbol of  superiority of Life over death.  Old man is weak and hardly alive. His power is in the Crocodile who carries him. The Hawke is the symbol of death, evil and  rays of Light.  It is the light  of evil that is carrying death.    All the Look of Agares means the Balance of LIFE and DEATH and manipulating with them.
He is demon of «running» .  He  can make stop runaway person , same as to make run away person who stays on the place.  Very poetically , isn’t it? Because «motion is life».  And this demon who is full of death symbols- makes you Run.  Like Grim Reaper that follows you and makes escape . Agares knows all languages and can teach you them, Also he is able to cause the earthquakes and to  give you most noble titles in your life.

This is the sigil of the  demon Agares. The direct instructions of how  to call for him were written in the Lesser Key of Solomon / Goetia.
